I understand and agree that in participating in any online dance instruction, dance class, workshop, rehearsal or performance, there is a possibility of physical injury or death. I voluntarily agree, therefore, to assume all risks and responsibility for any such injury or accident, which might occur to my child or me during any of iSpin classes, rehearsals, performances, or activities. I also exempt, release, and indemnify iSpin, its owners, agents, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, faculty members, and/or students from any and all liability claims, demands, or causes of action whatsoever from any damage, loss, injury, or death to me, my children, or property which may arise out of or in connection with participation in any classes or activities conducted by iSpin.
I further hereby voluntarily agree to waive my rights and that of my heirs and assigns to hold iSpin, its owners, agents, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, and/or students liable for such damage, loss, injury, or death. I understand that I should be aware of my physical limitations and agree not to exceed them. If I am signing this waiver for my children, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and have the right to waive these rights.
You have chosen to participate in Aerial classes at iSpin, which are designed to concentrate on the cardiovascular system, flexibility, balance, coordination, muscle toning and endurance. iSpin advises all students to consult their physician with respect to any past or present illness, injury and conditions that may affect your participation in iSpin classes. iSpin’s instructors are qualified aerial teachers and certified in first aid. You agree to listen to and follow their instruction carefully so as to keep you and others safe. If you feel unwell or have flu like symptoms, you agree you will not attend classes. Your choice to participate in the classes means that iSpin, its officers, directors, employees, agents, landlords, lessees and franchises are released from any and all liability for property, injury to your person or any other persons under your care or supervision, caused in any manner.
Filming and photography are strictly prohibited during regular classes. Filming and photography are allowed during aerial time practice sessions, as long as you make the people around you aware. Your image or likeness may be used for social media and promotional material if you are photographed at the iSpin studio and iSpin events. The choreography learnt in iSpin classes may not be used for students’ personal financial gain in instructing or teaching without written authorisation by the iSpin director.
Please note that a deposit or full payment is required to hold your place prior to the term start date and the full balance is due no later than the first week (Sunday latest) of term. Bookings will only be held for 48 hours without payment. Bookings for the following term’s course open up on the third week of each term, payment plans are available. You can phone through payment (0434621546), pay online, pay in studio cash/EFT, or direct deposit using your full name as the reference to iSpin; BSB - 062908, ACC - 10924537. Term payments, including deposits, are non-refundable or transferable. Missed classes are not transferrable to other terms and it is your responsibility to make up any missed session before the end of your enrolled term. We allow all students to make up a missed lesson depending on availability, within the current term, so please email, text or phone us to see if a suitable make-up class can be arranged. Please note, make ups are not 100% guaranteed, even with prior arrangements, and people enrolled in that particular class have first priority. Always arrive 10 minutes before your class. Let the instructor know if you have any questions, injuries/medical conditions, or if you are there for a make-up session. Aerial Time sessions have been provided and designed as catch up sessions for all students, regardless of identified gender.
Air conditioning, iSpin equipment like carabiners, and technological devices are strictly for iSpin instructor use only. Students and patrons are prohibited to touch any of these devices unless given permission from the instructor on duty or a written exception from management (firstname.lastname@example.org). Students and patrons are strictly prohibited from entering the instructor’s storeroom/cupboard. At times lighting will be lowered for class atmosphere; you will discuss with the instructor or contact iSpin management if you have safety or other concerns about the lighting, before the activity commences.
The minimum participant age for regular, evening classes at iSpin is 14 years old. Participants under 18 years of age must have parental permission prior to participating in iSpin classes.
Students are strictly prohibited from bringing alcohol and non-prescription drugs onto the iSpin premises. Participants suspected of being under the influence will be turned away from participating. Always keep your voice at a low volume whilst a class is commencing.
Fire escapes are located at the back and the front of the building. In the event of an emergency please disregard your possessions and swiftly move to the nearest exit in an orderly fashion. The equipment room is located at the back of the building through the white double doors. You may use it (warming up, stretching) and all the fitness equipment located there during aerial time or before and after your class. Please discuss with iSpin instructors regarding your goals, safety and advice with proper technique.
