Beginners includes flexibility conditioning, pole tricks, cardio fitness, strengthening and a routine. No previous experience or fitness level is required. This is basic 101 introduction to pole! We will condition your body to adapt to pole! The attire for pole is not a fashion statement we assure you! Skin sticks to the pole so the more exposed the better you’ll grip! Wear short shorts, as you will need your legs and knees exposed. A top that is comfortable, say something you might wear for the gym and bring a towel! Bare foot or sneakers is the usual footwear, however your welcome to bring something a little bit more exotic!
Take the leap to bridging! Includes flexibility conditioning, pole tricks, cardio fitness, strengthening and a routine. This is the level where you become comfortable upside down on the pole and learn to hold weight bearing moves. In Intermediate you will develop confidence with upside down moves and progress to more complex combinations and transitions. This level is a challenging strength and cardio workout. This class is aimed at an high intermediate – Advanced level. It is not assumed that everyone in the class will be able to attempt every move (there are different levels for most moves). The class focuses on a range of pole tricks (western and Chinese pole), combinations, floor-work, technique, acrobatics, doubles tricks, tumbling and transitions. There is a routine aimed at intermediate level with the option of harder extensions. Trix n’ Flex Pole
This class is aimed at an intermediate and Advanced extensions. It is not assumed that everyone in the class will be able to attempt every move (there are different levels for most moves). The class is pole tricks and transitions only (western and Chinese pole). combinations, floor-work, technique, acrobatics, tumbling and transitions. Trix n’ Flex is a mixed class and open to both men (all levels from beginner to advanced welcome) and women (intermediate to advanced level.) The class finishes with various stretching techniques and influences (Passive, Dynamic, Active/Isolated, Isometric, Yoga, Martial Arts) to increase flexibility sculpt your aerial journey. Open to men and women. Sling classes include yoga, stretching, balancing, flexibility conditioning, inverting, hanging, strengthening, dance, aerial acrobatic tricks and transitioning sequences; The sling can be held together and used as a singular entity, split into two like a big horseshoe or opened up into an enormous hammock. Sling is a Beginner level class so very accessible to those completely new to aerial fitness – the softest/simplest of the aerial styles but with enough challenge for the stronger and more confident students. Attire is leggings or 3/4 pants, clothes that are not loose (the sling can catch on baggy clothes). On top, again, wear nothing too loose. Give yourself the option of long sleeve or short sleeve tops. Bare foot or socks is the norm!
Open to both men and women, Lyra is a metal ring suspended from an anchor point. It swings like sling and spins like pole!
This classes includes tricks and transitions, cardio, stretching, balancing, flexibility conditioning, inverting, hanging, strengthening, a sequence with basic dance components and aerial acrobatic tricks; Lyra is designed for beginners and accessible to those completely new to aerial fitness as well as advanced levels who require stronger and more daring feats of skill! Attire is leggings or 3/4 pants, clothes that are not loose (you want to be able to slide over/through the lyra). On top, wear nothing too loose. Give yourself the option of long sleeve or short sleeve tops. Bare foot or sneakers in the norm.
Strength n’ Stretch
All levels welcome! No experience required and open to everyone, strength n’ stretch a fun class is aimed to increase your strength and flexibility whilst gettin’ down do some jiggy tunes! We begin with a warm up, followed by 40 minutes of cardio and strengthening tracks that will work the whole body. Each week you will work with different equipment such as Pole fitness, swiss ball, therabands, weights etc. For the last 20 minutes you can expect various stretches designed to increase your flexibility. Learn some helpful tips and techniques used for flexibility conditioning such as dynamic, active splits, isolated movement, yoga, and much more!
iSpin AM Boot-camp
Start the day with some good tunes and exercise. This is a fitness focused class in the morning that encourages a solid workout before the working day begins. Who needs the gym when you can get a full cardio workout and learn a trick or two!
iSpin Aerial Time
When enrolling at iSpin you get 3x free Aerial Times to practice your latest skills!
Wednesday 12:30pm, Saturdays at 11:30am and Sundays at 2:30pm.
Aerial time is a supervised practice session designed to revise the current material. You can attend as many as you like during your enrollment! You can use Aerial Time as a free-styling session and/or ‘catch-up’ lessons. There is a mix of levels, aerial types, open to men and women. They are also a great opportunity to get some one-on-one PT time with your instructor. Note occasionally Aerial Time sessions may involve sharing aerial apparatus.
